Verification of the changes introduced in the catalogs before their publication

Scope of lesson

Procedure for verifying changes in a manufacturer's product catalogue prior to incorporating the catalogue in the program.

Modules and program configuration

InstalSystem 5 package in any configuration with a licence number enabling access to the catalogue to be verified.

Attention! In order to gain access notify InstalSoft of the licence number owned.

Steps to perform

Downloading a catalogue for verification

1. In the Manager select Update.
2. In Manage versions check Catalogs for verification and carry out the update.

Catalogue verification

1. Checking the correctness of changes made in a catalogue.
2. Communicating remarks, if any, to the catalogue production team at InstalSoft.
3. After obtaining information by e-mail on the available updated version of a catalogue, downloading and verfication of the updated catalogue.

Catalogue approval

After approving the contents of the catalogue, notifying the catalogue production team at InstalSoft of the catalogue being ready for publication.

Final state

InstalSoft publishes the catalogue and notifies the Partner by e-mail of the accessibility of changes.
